Parent-Daughter posts?

| gemmytherobot approved | #1 Wanted to ask if there was a function on this site to allow parent-daughter relations for images. I've seen some with it, but does it merge them or just allow them to be connected? Doing the former would be very useful to keep clutter down, especially seeing sketches and colored versions of the same image not being shelled into one another, or a dozen variants of the same image not being under a single parent image. |
| JumboG admin | #2 There is a parent/child system, it just links the images, doesn't merge or change anything else about them. Navigate to the child post and click on 'Edit', it will be near the bottom underneath the picture and tags and source, and the new text box directly above where you clicked Edit should say 'Parent', then just enter the parent post ID. The IDs are listed along the left hand side of the screen, just underneath the tags.
