About Us

We are a fan run site acting as a catalog for Emmy the Robot fanart. Even though we are called Nanbooru, any Emmy the Robot related content (characters, OCs) is allowed. Feel free to reach out to JumboG or Neppy with any questions.

Rules

1. All content must be SFW. Images with a pornographic/fetish intent or connotation are not allowed. This applies for intense violence.
We are all fans of Emmy the Robot and strive to adhere to a similar standard of content as the comic itself. This means nothing pornographic, fetish, overly violent, or in otherwise 'poor taste'.

Examples would be:

  • Nudity/noticeable genitals (On-model Nandroid nudity is acceptable)
  • Cropped porn
  • Links to porn/porn sites
  • Overly sexual innuendos
  • Exaggerated proportions where the purpose is to draw attention to said proportions
  • Extreme violence or gore

    2. Content should be mostly unique and need to display an amateur grasp of artistic principles. No poorly drawn content.
All art is subjective but this is not meant to be a repository of meme edits and quick shitposts. If care and time was taken to create an art piece, it should be fine to upload, memes included.

    3. No unedited Patreon or Webtoons content is to be uploaded. Patreon content should be rarely uploaded. Content should be more than minimally edited.
This website is meant to act as a hub for fan content, not the official comic. If a comic panel has been sufficiently edited from it's original look it can be uploaded. Older or obscure works made by Dom that aren't hosted on his Patreon may be uploaded as well.

    4. Adhere to the Do Not Post (DNP) artist list. While an artist's permission is not required for uploading their work, if an artist requests that their artwork not be hosted here then we will oblige.
    Do Not Post Artist List:
    Currently empty!

    5. Do not be disruptive to other users or site operation. Standard internet etiquette applies.

    6. No AI generated content. No fully AI generated images, specifically those created using prompts.

    7. All rules are enforceable by mod discretion. We are a group of fans trying to promote Emmy the Robot in a positive way, we'll encounter gray areas as from time to time. If in doubt, message a mod for clarity.

    Tagging

Tag what you see, not what you know! When in doubt, use tagme! You can also click on the ? next to a tag to get taken to the character's wiki page or a page explaining what the tag is and when it should be used.

At a minimum, each image should have an artist (if known) and character(s) tags. Try to include a link to the original source for your image. If in doubt, use artist_request or source_request. There is no downside to using as many descriptive tags as possible, it will only help to make the image easier to find in the future. Actions (sleeping, baking, scrubbing), objects in the scene (hammer, baseball_bat, bee), and even tags describing the image iteself (2girls, black_and_white, sketch, painting) shoule be included.

Only include tags that help describe how the image is unique. Some tags are too obvious and shouldn't be used, like two_eyes, blue_eyes, or headdress. These are expected tags to see on nearly any image. A better way to handle images would be to tag the images that don't have these (damaged, unique_eye_color, hat).

    Tag Searching

Searching is largely based on tags, with a number of special keywords available that allow searching based on properties of the posts.

    tagname

Returns posts that are tagged with "tagname".

    tagname othertagname

Returns posts that are tagged with "tagname" and "othertagme".

Most tags and keywords can be prefaced with a negative sign (-) to indicate that you want to search for posts that do not match something.

    -tagname

Returns posts that are not tagged with "tagname".

    -tagname -othertagname

Returns posts that are not tagged with "tagname" or "othertagname".

    tagname -othertagname
